I always wanted to follow my passion and help as many people as I can, and improve as many lives as possible. Our story began in 1975 when a group of orthotists founded the business with the aim to provide orthotic products and services. Over a number of years the business evolved, and the focus was shifted from orthotics to assistive technology which was a new and upcoming sector in Australia. The business went through a major change when Rhonda and Iain Hogg acquired the company in 2000. Quickly renaming it Specialised Wheelchair Company to better describe what the company does best.
