This social activity program enables older people to participate in community life and feel socially included through structured and informal, group based activities that develop, maintain or support independent living, individual goal setting, and social engagement. It supports independent living for people over 65 who may be socially isolated or need help to attend out-of-home activities appropriate to their interests and abilities.
